Tapa Retail (OPC) Private Limited is fmcg firm in Keonjhar, Odisha. The company was incorporated in June, 2022 by Mr. Saras Kumar Nayak who is the director of this company. It is a new company and aiming to package agro product in its facility and selling directly to customers via different sales channels.

Here we are trying to solve the below issues.

Procurement Issue 

Farmers are not able to sell rice paddy in Mandi due to corruption in the Mandi which is set up by government.They are forced to sell to their paddy to local rice business person or Mandi workers  at lower price lower than MSP.

Cold Storage and Access to Market

Vegetable farmers are not able to sell their vegetables products due to shortage of cold storage or lack of access to organised market. Many instances, they had to sell their products at lower price to minimise the loses.

Solution

1-Procure rice paddy directly from farmer and  process, package and sell and give a better price higher than MSP set up by government.

2-Bring innovation in cold storage technology,set up micro cold storage facility in every block/panchayat.

3-Procure vegetables directly from farm and store, process and sell in the market or export vegetables to ASEAN countries
